• Account Information: Name, mobile number, email address (when you register or sign in with Google)
• Study Progress Data: Topics completed, revision status, study time, streaks, XP points, badges
• Custom Content: Custom exams, personal topics, and daily plans you create
• Chat Messages: Messages you send in community chat rooms (if you use this feature)
• Device Information: Device type and OS version for bug fixing purposes only

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the app experience
• Sync your study progress across devices
• Show your analytics and performance insights
• Enable community chat features
• Send you important app notifications (if enabled)
• Fix bugs and improve performance

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using:

• Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud) — for study progress, custom exams, and chat messages
• Firebase Authentication — for secure login
• Local device storage — for offline access to your progress

All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS and at rest using Firebase's built-in encryption.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data only in these cases:

• Firebase/Google: As our backend provider (subject to Google's Privacy Policy)
• Community Chat: Messages you send in chat rooms are visible to other users of the same exam group
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect rights and safety

5. Community Chat

If you use the community chat feature:

• Messages are visible to all users in the same exam group
• You can choose to send messages anonymously (shown as "Aspirant #XXXX")
• Messages can be reported and reviewed by moderators
• Do not share personal sensitive information in chat

6. Children's Privacy

SV Prep Master is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Correct: Update inaccurate personal information
• Export: Download your study progress data

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data including study progress, custom exams, and chat messages will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. PDF Uploads

When you upload a PDF to import a syllabus, the file is processed entirely on your device. We do not upload or store your PDF files on our servers.

10. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — Authentication and database (Privacy Policy)
• Google Sign-In — Optional login method (Privacy Policy)

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.

12. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information including encryption, secure authentication, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
